A very impressive list. There are 2 that I can think of right off that are missing:
1) Ernest T. Bass (He just wanted his uniform) 2) Ellie (She was sworn in during the Christmas episode) I'm trying to remember if Orville, the town undertaker/TV repairman was ever deputized and I'm not sure if Malcolm's job as a crossing guard required him to wear a badge. Also, while not a deputy, an escaped convict forced Barney to change clothes with him. Another thought: Could it be that our own little town of Mayberry was the reason that Barney nearly lost his job? Is this what they meant when they said there was too much handing out of badges going on?
