I'm happier than a hot hog in a cool mud hole. The cable company here just added two new networks to our cable..MEtv and Antennatv....now I get TAGS on THIStv every morning followed by Matlock and TAGs on TVland plus two more hours of Matlock on WGN-A..and an hour of Gomer Pyle on MEtv...It don't get any better than that..unless of course I had a date with Peggy...she wasn't only very pretty, she was a real lady...and we both love music...I suppose I would pick her up in my 1959 Ford and we'd drive down to Myers lake for a picnic and maybe a little fishing..I think she'd like to skip a few rocks too..we'd get into the boat and go off some place where we couldn't be bothered by Barney or Goober...and just listen to the sounds of the of the surrounding outdoors and enjoy some loose talk, she could tell me all about her travels and i'd share some of my thoughts about Mayberry and it's people. ...then we'd head on back to town maybe stop at the drug store for an ice cream cone afterwards we'd go end up the front porch, sit in the swing and just get to know one another a little better...Later I would walk her home maybe get a little kissy, kissy,nothing serious, of course, after all it is a first date. Then say good night...I only have one thing to say after a day like that..."She nice, real nice"
My wife fixed me waffles for a valentines day gift. Now I ain't sayin' she's a bad cook, but I now have four new tires for my car... Aunt Bee: "if you won't do it for me, do it for Robie Miller.
