One hears alot about how TAGS was a show that had good morals and that many of
the episodes had a lesson to be learned. I am a big fan and love the show.
I've noticed, however, that sometimes the lesson learned was that it is better
to deceive or trick someone than to tell the truth.

Examples are: When they switched the microphone on Barney to make him think he
could sing rather than tell him the truth.
When Andy enlisted Opie's help to forge a plaque on Barney's motorcycle to make
him think it was a historical item (and put it on display as such)rather than
tell him the truth.
When Andy used Opie's magic tricks to make Briscoe Darling think he was a witch.
When Andy and Barney pretended to like Aunt Bee's pickles rather than tell her
the truth.
I'd like to see Andy have a heart to heart with Opie and explain why it's
alright to lie and deceive people.
