I think we can all agree that the most popular interior shown on TAGS was the
courthouse/jails. There were a few episodes that were filmed outside of
Mayberry (Andy Visits Barney In Raleigh, The Taylor's Hollywood Vacation and
Andy and Barney Go To Raleigh) where it was not possible to show the inside of
the courthouse.
But I was watching the episode "Aunt Bee's Romance", which took place entirely
in the town of Mayberry, and the interior of the courthouse was not shown even
once.
Can anyone think of another episode of TAGS was shot entirely in town that did
not show the interior of the courthouse even once?
Orville Hendricks - Selling Butter and Eggs In Mt. Pilot. For a few minutes
there, when Andy and Barney came to see me, I thought I was going to see the
inside of the Mayberry jails.
