The response to folks about Don and the Furley character reminds me of a review in our local paper about The 3 Stooges movie where the reviewer talked about how true the movie was to the Stooges' TV show. Well, the Stooges never had a TV show. What this guy had seen were the theatrical shorts the Stooges were famous for. In 1959, Screen Gems released these to TV where they were picked up and shown in half hour segments; egro, their "TV" show. I don't guess we should blame these people who say such dumb things - they just don't know any better.
