Hey from Mayberry On Main;
We were playing patriotic cd's in the shop for Memorial Day weekend and
I was reading the cover to "God Bless America".....on the back it reads....
great soundtrack, more than two centuries in the making, so grab you drum and
fife and join the patriotic parade! ...... so grab you drum and
fife....fife....spelled the same as our Barney Fife........ got me to
thinking....what does that mean? Looked it up and just look at the type of
instrument that a fife is.....
Fife (instrument) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Fife _(instrument) A fife is a small, high-pitched,
transverse flute that is similar to the piccolo, but louder and shriller due to
its narrower bore. The fife originated in medieval Europe ..

I think the definition describes our Barney pretty well. What do you think?

Have a Happy Memorial Day and God Bless America!

Come see us in Andy's hometown!
