This has been a sad summer for Mayberry fans for sure.....with the
passing of George Lindsey, Doug Dillard, and now Andy Griffith. Andy
was my fictitional tv father. I learned so much from that show, but
most importantly I learned from Andy .........the love that he showed
the towns people of Mayberry and barney fife is something that I have
tried to do with the people in my life. I try to find the best in
people and help them any way I can......because that is what Andy would
have done. That has been the reason and success of the Andy Griffith
show, the recipe for success.......people relate to Andy and the town
of Mayberry because of the love that was so apparent in every episdode.
I hope that tv will one day come back to that! Andy has been on the air
for over 50 years because of that recipe, you would think that the
people in Hollywood would take note of that. The Andy Griffith show
represented the best of people, but most importantly, the best of
