I'm pretty much speechless about the passing of Andy Griffith. I knew this day would come at some time, but I never thought I would feel so deeply saddened as I do. I knew it would be a sad day, but I feel as though I have lost my best friend. I can't even think about it without shedding a tear. I've had many friends call me or come and see me to offer me comfort with this. Even my children made a comment on facebook stating that they thought many kids never knew there were lyrics to "The Fishin' Hole" and that they knew it did, and could actually recite those words. They finished that by saying "thanks dad"............made me cry. My prayers to his family, and even to all of us, who will keep his memory alive forever.
