Hello Everyone, I went up to Greensboro, NC Friday and couldn't resist popping up to Mount Airy. There was a sorrow in the air that you could feel. It seemed like everyone was in shock. I have been going to Mayberry Days since 1995 and I go once or twice a year just to go. It was just a different feeling this time knowing our Andy was gone. But it is nice to know that he will continue to entertain generations to come. His spirit was there. If anyone would like a picture of the statue you can email me and I will be glad to send you one.
