I've rarely submitted anything. Shame on me for reading all of your "stuff" and not conrtributing anything. I cannot let dear Andy's passing cannot go by without my telling you all how much I loved the old black and white shows and really tried to raise my children like he raised "Opie." What a sheer delight and kind respectful person he portrayed. I'm sure he was like that in real life too. I watched the very first show and haven't stopped in almost 50 yrs. Today there was a 12 hr. marathon tribute to him on our local TV Land channel. It was a joy to watch all over again. The pant leg still stuck in the boots. TERRIFIC!
