TAGSsadly lost another of its popular guest actors on July 27. Norman Alden hasdied at 87. R.I.P. In"The Battle of Mayberry" he was Tom Strongbow and in "Howard theBowler" he played Hank the opposing team captain. Ina 50-year career, Mr. Alden appeared in a couple thousand film,TV and commercial roles. Some notables include the cameraman in Tim Burton's EDWOOD (1994), Chip's father-in-law on MY THREE SONS, the Coach on MARY HARTMAN,MARY HARTMAN, the voice of Aquaman on SUPER FRIENDS, HOGAN'S HEROES, BATMAN,THE BOB CUMMINGS SHOW, a long-running series of AC Delco commercials, and somuch more.
