*** Report from TAGSRWC HQ *** We're sad to report the passing of a wonderful person and great friend of Mayberry. Dale Robinson, co-author of "The Definitive Andy Griffith Show Reference" and "A Guide to Television's Mayberry R.F.D.," died Tuesday. He was 54. Dale was one of the most positive, cheerful, and enthusiastic people you could ever hope to meet. He was always ready with a heartfelt laugh. We're lucky that one of his passions was Mayberry. He and his cousin David Fernandes wrote two highly regarded books about Mayberry. But beyond Dale's writing, it was the friendships that Mayberry allowed us to have with him that are most special. He was the friendliest person imaginable--truly "kind behind the eyes." Our hearts go out to Dale's wife Diana, son Josh, brother Stan and all of his family.
