The Mayberry Guru had another great time at a big parade at Chippewa Falls Pure Water Days. We received the honor of winning a 1st place trophy for having the most original entry in the parade. But that wasn't the highlight of the day. I am sure you all remember that Barney tagged the governor's car for illegal parking. Well, the Mayberry Guru was not about to be outdone by Barney. While walking around before the parade started I spotted our U.S. Congressman Ron Kind's vehicle. And it was parked in the middle of the street. Now being the conscientious lawman that I am, I felt I just had to cite the congressman for illegal parking. ( pictures are on my website) I didn't really hang around his car to see what happened when he found that yellow citation on his windshield. I expect I will be getting a call from Washington sometime soon but there will be no favoritism while the Mayberry Guru is on duty.
