On 08/25/12,seventeen of us TAGS fans went to Troy,NC for a Mayberry Night in
Troy event.
Maggie Petersen Mancusso & Rodney Dillard were there,along with several tribute
artists.
There were quite a few really nice silent auction items.I think everyone in
attendance got a
lot of bang for the buck.Jeff Branch puts on a well prepared music/comedy
soiree.
My group is looking forward to next years' event.True,it's not as large as
Mt.Airys' Mayberry Days,
but not too shabby in its' own right.If you've never attended,I would recommend
you try it.
