I live in a small town in Virginia, it's always been my Mayberry. Well I had to laugh out loud on Thursday morning. We had a couple of people walking the street I live on handing out info that they wanted to buy gold and they would be in the area if you were interested. About 5 minutes later I heard on the police scanner "Any units in the area, be on the lookout for two people knocking on doors, wanting to purchase scrap gold, they don't have a permit" Immediately I realized they were strangers and never heard of the "Green River Ordinance" I spent a few minutes laughing about it, and almost hopped on the mountain bike and helped find them for the officers, but I figured I might have to ride on the sidewalk and I didn't want to get a ticket. _______________________________________________ WBMUTBB mailing list [email protected] http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/
