In the episode "The Mayberry Float" on Mayberry RFD Howard Sprague gives a report to the town council regarding what they should build for a float for the Mt. Pilot parade. He said in his research he discovered that one of the first pioneers of Mayberry's early settlement was a woman named Martha Flogg. Now that must be an ancestor of Barney's old high school sweetheart Irene Flogg, AKA Tina Andrews, the famous movie star. So it looks like another plaque should be made for another of Mayberry's Most Distinguished Citizens.
Speaking of parades we are thinking of putting a can of root beer and a scoop of ice cream on top of the squad car for next year's parades. That way we could be the Mayberry Squad Car and the Mayberry Root Beer Float. Maybe we could win two trophies in the same parade. -- Ken Anderson The Mayberry Guru 2906 May Street Eau Claire, Wisconsin 54701 www.mayberryreflections.com _______________________________________________ WBMUTBB mailing list [email protected] http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/
