The story from Rance Howard in the e-Bullet about how Andy ended up with Taylor as his last name, after first being called "Andy Hopper" in rehearsals for the pilot got me to thinking. They ended up not using Hopper and missing out on a joke in that episode but some six years later, the writers finally did work in a joke with Andy's last name when he was trying to call the "picture studio" and kept getting transferred to the Tailor Shop. Keith in Nebraska P.S. When Andy was running for Sheriff, "Win With Hopper" wouldn't have had the same ring as "Win With Taylor".
