I was working my shift as Festival Food's "Professional Consumer Multiple Purchases Packaging Specialist" today and a woman came through my lane. After she unloaded all her food I noticed several bags of candy under her purse. When I asked her if she wanted them she got all flustered and said,"Oh no I could have walked away with those and the police would be called." At that point I took my Barney Fife Drivers License ID out of my pocket and showed it to her and said I was working undercover. She laughed and then looked at me and said, "Oh, you are that guy with the squad car." I just love it when those unplanned Mayberry moments pop up out of nowhere.
