We are all well aware of how Barney's badge had appears and disappears a number of times in the episode with Gentleman Dan. Well, Aunt Bee has the very same thing happen to her when she takes driving lessons with Goober. Her rear view mirror keeps appearing and disappearing. Now, being the owner of two classic cars I know for certain that that ought not happen. It could cause a real problem. Now being I am a true believer in the Count and all his shenanigans around Mayberry, I believe this too is one of his doings.
By the way, I was watching an episode of Mayberry RFD and the same thing happened to the head rests in Sam's car. When he and Howard were driving along the highway there were no headrests and there holes in the backs of the front seats where they were supposed to be. But by the time they reached Goober's those headrests were there. Now that ought not really happen either. Now I had the same thing happen to me once. I took a girl out for the first time to a movie. Shortly after the movie started she said she needed to use the rest room. But you know what? She never came back.
