Here's my take on how Mrs. Grayson found Floyd...once Floyd hatched his plan
and Andy agreed, he sent a telegram to Mrs. Grayson, giving her the address of
the house he would be at (and maybe turn-by-turn directions to get there). I
don't recall if Mrs. Grayson's letter said what time she would be arriving in
Mayberry, so Floyd and "Andrew Paul Lawson" may have had to spend most of the
day there. If Mrs. Grayson was a bit of a fake as well, where did she get the
car? I haven't watched in a while, but seem to recall that it was a Lincoln
Continental.
