I just finished watching the episode where the darlings first come to
town.....Larry
I put a bucket on my head and got to thinkin' about that thing...It appears to
me if I recollect that back
in the 60's hotels were renting single and double rooms...you got a single room
with a single bed and
a double room with a double bed,,,so that might explain the question about one
person to a room...but I
noticed something else in that episode and that is when Andy and Mr. Masters
came into the room there
were no instuments in sight..I would think it would be pretty hard to hide a
banjo, guitar, mandolin and
bass fiddle. There was a door on one wall. If that was a closet why didn't John
Masters look in there. He
did look under the bed...It could have been a door to another room...but that
doesn't explain what happened
to the instruments. Another thing is that at the horse trough Mr. Darling said
the radiator took 'leven hatsful
yet he only poured 5 into it...Maybe that's all it needed or maybe Andy just
interrupted him and he just wanted to
move on.....but that still doesn't explain what happened to the instruments.
