I just returned from a wonderful Mayberry evening. I did a presentation of "Citizenship" at a monthly cub scout pack meeting and their parents. It went so well. The kids were super attentive. Throughout the presentation I used four different video clips featuring Opie in examples of good and/or bad citizenship situations. Kids understood the concepts so well. I think the parents enjoyed everything as much as the kids did. Leader said afterwards he thought I could have gone on for another hour without losing their attention. Wonderful knowing that yet another generation is at least getting introduced to the Wonderful World of Mayberry.
