Our university here in Eau Claire has never had a mascot. The nickname is the Eau Claire Blu-Golds. Well, they finally came up with a strange looking mascot and they named it "Blue". Now that would be perfect if the mascot were a bloodhound. I think I will get myself one of those high frequency silent whistles and go to a basketball game. Then in the middle of the game I will blow the whistle and see what "Blue" does. Maybe I will even yell, "Blue, See Referee, Get Referee!"
