While watching a 1930's movie on TCM last week, one of the characters used the
term "Negro". Now a days when you hear something like that it jars you for
just a second, since you are not used to hearing it on TV. It got me to
thinking about TAGS and being politically incorrect. I know that TAGS phased
out Otis towards the end because it was no longer funny to make fun of an
alcoholic. And in the episode about Colonel Harvey's Elixer, both Colonel
Harvey and Barney used the phrase "Indian", when now a days everyone says
"Native American".Can anyone think of any other instances of TAGS being
politically incorrect? Orville Hendricks - The Mount Pilot Butter and Egg Man.
Now a days you cannot call a man a bank robber. He is just a customer making
an unauthorized withdrawl.
