Jeff story about the NATO alphabet brought to mind another story which appeared in The Bullet a number of years ago. I don't now recall who submitted it, but anyway, someone was studying an alphabetical list of all of the vessels in the United States Navy, and in the F section was the U.S.S. Fearless, immediately followed by the U.S.S. Fife. Shazam! Fearless Fife.
As for that other alphabet, it goes Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Foxtrot, Lima, Golf ... I know a lot o' other letters too, but not in a row like that.
