I was just watching episode "Irresistible Andy". At the beginning Fred and Andy are talking about the upcoming "dance". Andy is shocked that Miss Ellie is not going to the "dance", so he decides to ask her to the "dance". He walks in the back room and asks her if it is true that she isn't going to the "picnic". Then he asks her if she has something against "picnics". So my questions is, How does a "dance" turn into a "picnic" in such a short time. Or could it be that there is a dance and a picnic? But then wouldn't that be a dancnic? Curious and Curious.
