My wife LInda and I are part of our church's Home Visitation Ministry where we visit shut ins each month and distribute communion. Five of our six friends have passed away during the past twelve months. This morning we attended the funeral for one of the ladies we visit. Our pastor began his homily with a very wonderful tribute to Mayberry and the values and qualities of the Andy Griffith Show. He used it to demonstrate how important things from our past are, especially the important values that were such a part of TAGS. He even whistled the TAGS Theme Song as an introduction. He has brought his young son over to our house numerous times to see the squad car and they come to many of the car shows I am at. Glad to see some of my Mayberry efforts are rubbing off onto others.
