I always enjoy watching Emmett in his fix it shop. I think this really demonstrates one of the vast changes in our society. Can you imagine people today having their alarm clocks,radios, toasters, hair dryers, and all their other appliances and electronics repaired. I also chuckle when I hear Emmett saying he will have it done in a couple of weeks. There is no way people today would have the patience to wait that long. We are indeed living in a throw away society. But then, that's the intention of today's manufacturers, isn't it?
