There was an article in the Raleigh paper today on how the businesses in Mt. Airy are starting to suffer because of the waning fans of TAGS. As older ones die, who remember the show, fewer and fewer young ones take the time to watch a show with morals and family values. From my observation, they spend all their time staring at a little screen and punching letters with their thumbs!! To hear some of them talk on TV, they are losing their skill at talking with common sense! So, take the time to sit with your kids or grandkids and watch some of the more entertaining shows, and then once they see how great the show is, maybe they will want to see more!! I wish we were closer to Mt. Airy 'cause I sure would like one of those Snappy sandwiches, but my cardiologist wouldn't like it too much!! My echocardiogram showed one upper heart chamber a little enlarged, and one lower chamber thicker than the other and then he said something very hurtful....he said that comes with old age!! Am I now OLD??? When did that happen??? I don't remember passing middle age!! For you young people out there, I was once where you are. You will soon be where I am. Don't ridicule an older person, for you too will be there sooner than you wish!! Happy Mayberry to everyone!
