I took a quick look at the video for "One Punch Opie", and while there is a
character in that scene that resembles Rusty Stevens/Larry Mondello, I don't
see how it can be Rusty.  Rusty was born in 1948, making him 6 years older than
Ron Howard.  He would have been 14 at the time of "One Punch Opie".  Also, if
you watch Leave It to Beaver, he was taller than Jerry Mathers, who was about
the same age, so unless he was on his knees for this scene, I don't see how
this could have been Rusty/Larry Mondello.

I know this is a discussion of TAGS, but did anyone else ever think that Madge
Blake as Mrs. Mondello was more suited age-wise to be Larry's grandmother?

One other quick comment and I'm out of here...did anyone ever notice a
resemblence between Ronnie Schell (Duke Slater on GP, USMC) and Beaver's
friend, Gilbert Bates (played by Stephen Talbot)?  I know they weren't related,
but I was always struck by the similarities in their mannerisms.  Maybe it's
just me...  FYI, Stephen Talbot's father was Lyle Talbot, a long-time character
actor who played Ozzie & Harriett's friend Joe Randolph among others (he grew
up in Brainard, Nebraska).
