Linda and I celebrated our 43rd wedding anniversary by going to a car show at a town where we hadn't been with the squad car.. In 1994 Henry Winkler aka "The Fonz" signed a Fonz shirt that I was wearing to one of his speeches. I have kept it put away for the last 19 years. At the car show I did a formal presentation as I presented our own Fonz tribute artist "Jacoby" with the shirt. I told the audience that I had worn it only to church on Sundays and once a year at Thanksgiving when we went to grandmas. I thought Jacoby was going to cry he was so happy. ( I posted a few pictures on Mayberry After Midnight). A gentleman at the show said he had something at home he thought I would like. He went home and came back with an actual vintage large police flashlight with the big red light on the end. It works great. He would only take $5 for it. So that is a great addition to the squad car. They had a drawing for a grand prize and my wife won two tickets to the Ho Chunk Gaming Casino to their Together Again Concert featuring a number of big name stars from the '60's. So I have to say the city of Menomonie, WI gave us a great welcome. We have two parades this weekend and the weather will be in the low 70's and sunny, so it will be a marvelous weekend.
