One hears so much about people making a bucket list. ,So decided I too
would make my bucket list. But my bucket list is a list of things I would
like to do in Mayberry before my demise.
- have a root beer float with Mavis Neft so I could feel bubbly wubbly all
over.
- go to the duck pond with Thelma Lou.
- get trapped in Indian Caves with Helen Crump
- try some snails and brains in a fancy French restaurant.
- play the part of Chief Nugatuck in the Founder's Day Pageant.
- sing good old 14A with the Mayberry choir.
- play "I'm In Jail" with Skippy or Daphne.
- go fishing using Old Eagle Eye Annie.
- should out "They're doing it, they're doing it" while watching Helen and
Andy kiss.
- see Lydia Crosswaite stick her head out the car window like a dog.
- go to Morelli's for a pounded steak.
- kill a carp with the blunt end of an ax and then string it up on a tree.
Now there are many more things I would like to add to my Mayberry Bucket
List. But being I will
be 67 years old in a few weeks, I probably won't have enough time to do
everything I would like so
I will limit it to those mentioned above.
So how about it friends, do any of you have a Mayberry Bucket List you
would like to share?
