Oh my it is hot here in the Midwest. And everyone is talking about the weather but no one is doing anything about it.
We spent five plus hours at a car show on Sunday and I also walked a long parade in my full uniform when the temperature was 95 with high humidity. We have changed our moonshiners into Mayberry Princess Mrs. Campbell and Mayberry Prince Otis Campbell. I tell people that Otis quit drinking when they made the Return to Mayberry movie so in honor of that he and the Mrs. were chosen Prince and Princess. I had magnetic signs made for the doors with their names and be bought them nice crowns. People are enjoying this new twist very much. It is a good teaching tool for the kids as I remind them that one does not have to be pretty to be a princess. We won a top 25 car trophy at the car show. Found out yesterday too that we won a trophy in the parade last week for best Historical Entry.
