My wife and I watched "The Gypsies" Episode last night. We thought it was fitting as we are now in a very serious dry spell in this part of Wisconsin. We ended up getting in an argument and I thought maybe someone on the Digest could help out. We cannot agree on what year "The Great Drought of '48" occurred. I say it was in 1950 but my wife says it was in 1951. Now I know we have some very intelligent folks on the Digest so if someone could straighten this out for us I would appreciate it. My wife is starting to make a moulage out of it.
