For anyone who is not an all-out TAGS fan, Morgan Brittany used to be named
Suzanne Cupito. It was while she was using the name Suzanne Cupito that she
appeared on TAGS as one of Opie's loves, Mary Alice Carter. Looking at that
episode, it is hard to imagine that she is only a couple of months younger than
me (63).
Any hoo, here come some more personal information that you probably do not care
about. I am a pretty big news junkie. I listen a lot to talk radio, and
read a lot of news blogs on the internet (Drudge Report, Townhall, etc).
Today while reading the columnists on Townhall, who do you suppose was there
with an op-ed about the news of the day? None other than our own Mary Alice
Carter. It is hard to imagine Mary Alice having so many deep intelligent
thoughts, especially after the way she swooned over Fred Simpson. Way to go
Mary Alice. Someone should invite her to Mayberry Days. Since she is
still active, and obviously a card carrying conservative, she would probably be
happy to accept. But maybe she has been there, I can't keep up with those
things......................................

Orville Hendricks - The Mount Pilot Butter and Egg Man. No one will invite me
to Mayberry Days, because there is not much call for someone who impersonates
an obscure TAGS character. But if they ever do invite me, I have got my
overalls and plaid shirt all ready.
