Wow, Mayberry Days is next week and Neil and I are looking forward to being there. If you have never attended, it is like a big family reunion where everyone is friendly and knows exactly what you mean when you hear lines from the show. No explanation is needed as we all understand the common thread that runs among us.
The Silent Auction that is sponsored by the WBMUTBB chapter, under the leadership of Jeff Koontz, is a great way to meet new friends and see ones that you haven't seen since last Mayberry Days. The proceeds from the wonderful items donated by members of our Mayberry Community and sometimes a few from some of the cast members, benefit the Surry Arts Council. This is a great way to add to your Mayberry Collection or buy a one of a kind gift for that special person, have fun and support a very worthy organization.
