Jewell Alicia Mitchell Kutzer passed away unexpectedly on 9-7-13 in St. Augustine, FL. Born on 1-4-36 in Mt. Airy she was raised by her mother Annie Mary Mabel Creed Mitchell, Grandfather Judge Anderson Edward Creed and Grandmother Ellen Creed. She spent many summers with her beloved Aunt Bea (Thelma Virginia Creed Miller) and Uncle Bill in Texas and Florida. She also became an author of 2 books-Memories of Mayberry and Mayberry Momma’s Food for the Soul and Body, and often performed as “The Mayberry Momma”, giving her own twist on down-home country wisdom as a motivational humorist. Jewell was a dynamic and engaging speaker, a loving mother and true friend to everyone she met. She is survived by her three children: Ellen India of Sarasota, David Bradfield of St. Augustine, and Bill Bradfield of Orange County, CA.
