Hey, Mayberry friends. Ken's pickle jokes have put me in a pickle state of
mind. In other words, my brain is pickled. I'ved shared this before but, as
Goober said, "I'll do it." My mother-in-law makes some great tasting pickles.
She takes good old Mt. Olive pickles (made here in NC), slices them herself,
(them store bought slicers cut 'em too thin), adds some herbs and spices known
only to her, then cooks and cans them in her own jars and they are so good!
Nothing like homemade pickles! Bless her heart.
We're just a few days away from Mayberry Days! I'll be pickled tink to get
there!
