Hey, Mayberry friends. Just a couple of things I noticed today while watching TAGS on TVLand. In the episode with Goober's talking dog he had two gas pumps labeled 'Premium'. Shouldn't one have said 'Regular'? In the episode with the counterfeiters, when Andy shot out their tires while they tried to escape, I saw train tracks in the street like a streetcar would have. Is a streetcar or trolley ever mentioned in Mayberry? I thought they were only found in bigger towns. I've seen these episodes a dozen times but these things never stood out before. I'll relinquish my status as a trained noticer and see if I can find some retraining at our local community college.
