Vicki's post about her favorite episode being "Opie's Three Wishes" got me to thinking about what would I wish for if I had three "Mayberry related" wishes. Well, my wishes would be:
1. I wish that my Mayberry squad car would run forever on my next tankful of gas. 2. I wish I had the Walker Drug Store soda fountain in my family room. 3. I wish I could get a manicure by Ellen Brown ( not Emma Watson ) so I could just sit there beside her and breathe. Now I realize that my third wish is rather selfish and frivolous, but after teaching for 36 years and being married for 43 years I think I am entitled to a little frivolity. OK folks, put on your thinking cap and wishing cap and let us know what your three Mayberry wishes would be.
