Well Ken, If I could be granted three "Mayberry Wishes" I think I would be a 'happy Mayberry' person with these 3 granted.
#1, For my Darling Person and I to join Andy & Helen, and Barney & Thelma Lou for dinner at Moreli's. I understand the food is great, and I can think of no better company to spend an evening with. #2,To Attend a Mayberry dance and hopefully get to dance with Mr. Swamp. I'd get him to talk about himself and then share the info with all of you. #3, To Spend a day at the Taylor home with Aunt Bee. We'd sit at the kitchen table and chat, and I'd get her recipe for kerosene pickles, Nestle rod pie, fried chicken, and Johnny cake. I'd enjoy sitting down to supper with Andy, Opie, & Aunt Bee. Hopefully Helen, Barney, and Thelma Lou would also be dining with us. After supper we'd all retire to the living room and be surprised when the Darling family dropped in for a "songfest". I'd be careful to hold back the tears, in case they did a number that might tend to 'make me cry'. "Boy, I sure wish I was granted more than three wishes"!
