Have we ever discussed opinions about which actor on TAGS offered an "outstanding single performance" in a specific episode? I can't suggest "best performance" because there are too many to choose. Also, if we include the major players, we would have to say "every time Howard McNear/Don Knotts/Ron Howard/etc. is on the screen". I would be interested in learning your opinions. To hopefully get this started, I would like to nominate the following:
Andy Clyde as Frank Myers Karl Swenson as Mr. McBeevee Parley Baer as Mayor Roy Stoner (choose your episode -- he's always good) Dick Elliott as Mayor Pike (again -- choose your episode) Lureen Tuttle as Annabelle Silby Reta Shaw as Big Maude Tyler Mr. Schwamp (he manages to communicate so much with so few (zero) words) I am sure there are many others that I'm missing (these were off the top of my head) -- it is very hard to choose. These actors were amazing, and all deserved Emmy's.
