After considerable thinking under my bucket, I have decided that I would have liked to see Madge Blake ( Larry Mondello's mother on Leave it to Beaver) be Floyd's wife. I read somewhere that she was the original choice to play Aunt Bee but for some reason that did not come to be. I think she and Floyd would have made a great couple and she would have kept him from becoming a miserable wretch.
I should mention that my wife was given a subscription to the Wisconsin Farm Journal for a Christmas present. However, she had to cancel the subscription.
