Here are several examples of times folks were known to watch TV at Andy's house. We don't see all of these happen onscreen, but that wasn't part of Ken's question.
1. In The Guitar Player, Andy mentions "that fella we see every now and again on television, jumpin' and screamin', actin' like somebody's beatin' his dog" (if he's talking about Elvis Presley, I share Andy's opinion) 2. In Ellie Comes to Town, Andy and Emma discuss the late movie they'd recently both watched 3. In Opie and His Merry Men, the boys had all watched the first part of a Robin Hood movie on TV 4. When Malcolm works at the Taylor house, Andy says Aunt Bee will be able to watch "that show where everybody's sick and in the hospital" (he was probably talking about General Hospital, the soap opera). 5. In Gomer the House Guest, the Taylors and Gomer watch/listen to a program about Shep and Ralph. Most people will say that was a TV show, but IMO they were listening to a radio show. We don't actually see a TV screen. 6. In Aunt Bee the Juror, Andy and Aunt Bee watch a courtroom drama of some sort 7. and 8. Lots of folks watch Aunt Bee on a game show and Howard on a talent show 9. In Howard's New Life, Andy hopes to see some dancing girls in a travelogue about some tropical island or other.
