My daughter and I volunteer at a local animal shelter that operates entirely on donations and I have been toying with the idea of parting with one of my collectibles to raise money for that shelter. I have the original "Sam Jones Councilman" name plate that was used throughout the run of Mayberry RFD. It has a signed, C.O.A. from Ken Berry, who played Sam Jones and I can provide screen shots from numerous episodes proving its authenticity. It was even used in scenes with Andy Griffith in at least one episode of Mayberry RFD (Help On The Farm). I have a lot invested in this item and I'm not going to just give it away, so bargain hunters need not inquire. I'm not trying to be mean about it, just honest.
