This morning I made a tangential TAGS sighting while watching Turner Classic
Movies.
They showed the 1933 movie "State Fair", with Will Rogers. There were no
better movies ever made than those Will Rogers made. Anyway, at the start of
the movie, all the family members are getting ready to go to the fair. Will
is taking his prize pig to show. And his wife is getting her prize pickles
ready to go to the fair and be judged. That is where the similarity ends, her
pickles actually tasted good, and won the blue ribbon.
Orville Hendricks - Mount Pilot Butter and Egg Man. One year I entered my
prize eggs in the state fair. No use talking anymore about that.
