I was thrilled to see our very own Emma Brand on the Dick Van Dyke Show a night or two ago. She was in Laura's writing class taught by none other than Malcolm Merriweather (Bernard Fox)! This episode was made in 1964, so it was after her TAGS appearances. She was hilarious as usual. Her character on DVD Show was very much like Emma Brand too. I was shocked -- shocked! that Malcolm would make such overt moves on Laura Petrie like that. Shocking, just shocking, as Malcolm says.
