Subject: Narrative on Opie's Playground Well said Ken and ditto,
I experienced the same kind of childhood too in our neighborhood of 80 houses on a lake. It was 50 miles North of NYC. My Father commuted by train to Manhattan every day with many other Fathers. We kids were truly blessed... My Mother was the one who rallied my father to move to Westchester County so my sister and I could have the same kind of childhood they had on Staten Island, and before it became an extension of the city. It was mostly country when they were kids. Patty _______________________________________________ WBMUTBB mailing list [email protected] http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/
