We do see the mailman in TAGS. He delivered the mail to the courthouse when Andy was getting all the work done by Henry Wheeler. He thought it was strange that Henry had such smooth hands. He noticed it when he shook hands with Henry.
The mailman took on a larger role in Mayberry RFD where he was seen a number of times. He was a busy man. He not only worked behind the window in the post office but I thought it was strange that he also delivered the mail to the courthouse and to Emmett Clark and he also delivered the mail to the Sam Jones Farm.
