Anyone catch Colonel Tim's Talent Time last night? They had that hilarious
stand up comedian, Howard Sprague, as their special guest.
One of the really knee slappers he told was "My friend Barney Fife recently
bought an automobile from Hubcaps Lesch". "Barney thought it was a Ford, but
it turns out it was a Rolls Canardly". "Yeah, it rolls down one hill, and
canardly make it up the next". Then he said "Andy came home for lunch the
other day while Aunt Bee's Garden Club was meeting, and all the women were
sitting around saying nothing". "When Aunt Bee came into the kitchen Andy
asked her why none of the women were talking, and Aunt Bee said, well we can't
help it, all of the members are present today".
Boy, I tell you that Howard Sprague is a real card.
